Adam Lazzara, Singer from the band Taking Back Sunday was lucky to be alive after a tree fell on top of him, crushing his leg.
A rep for the band tells TMZ that Adam was at a recording studio at in rural Michigan Saturday and decided to step out for a smoke. TMZ was told it was very windy, and the tree collapsed out of nowhere due to the heavy winds.
The rest of the band members rushed out after hearing the cries for help from Adam and failed in lifting the tree off of him. They called 911 and the local fire department came and sawed the tree into pieces. (Pics here on TMZ.com)
Once freed, he was rushed to the hospital where the doctors put his broken leg in a cast. According to the rep that told TMZ, Adam is expected to be in the cast for 4-6 weeks.
