Baseball Legend Lenny Dykstra Sentenced To 3 Years In Prision!

(Savulich/News)

The baseball has been sentenced to three years in the California State Prison for his grand theft auto case. Lenny asked the judge could he change his plea last week from 'no contest' to 'not guilty' and the judge refused to allow it today.

According to TMZ, Lenny entered the 'no contest' back in October as a plea deal, copping three counts of felony grand theft auto and one count of submitting false statements to a financial institution. 21 other charges have been dismissed.

Lenny wanted to change his plea from 'no contest' because he felt it was "not knowing and intelligent", meaning Lenny wasn't provided all the information he needed that was available to him before he made his plea decision.

Lenny was accused of leasing luxury cars from an L.A dealership with fraudulent paperwork. Drugs were also filed into this case as well.

But according to TMZ, Lenny won't actually begin to serve his case in prison due to overcrowding. He'll send him to jail, beginning his sentence there and he'll probably be released long before the 3-year mark.
