In the new song ‘How I Feel’, Chris opens up about his troubles and discusses the times his father hit his mother. Are YOU shocked that he got so real?
Chris Brown often dodges the fact that he ruthlessly beat Rihanna in 2009, but in his new song he actually brings up the topic and (sort of) apologizes!
Chris, 22, and Rihanna, 24, seem to have reconciled, and his newly-released track “How I Feel” talks about the brutal assault with more clarity than we’ve ever heard from him.
At one point, he clearly evokes the memory of that day in 2009, rapping, “19 a n—a went through a tragedy / Three years a n—a just found a better me.”
He also talks about growing up in an abusive household, rhyming, “All alone sleepin’ in my bedroom / As I wet the sheets momma gon’ be dead soon / Cuz a man beat her.”
Chris debuted the new song on his Twitter on March 8, and we’re sure it will give fans plenty to talk about.
