Kathy Griffin Has Benign Polyp Removed From Uterus

Kathy Griffin is alive and well...with her sense of humor intact!

Fresh off her surgery to have a uterine polyp removed, the comedian happily sent out an update like only she can.

"Uterus polyp BENIGN!" she tweeted this morning along with this photo. "But had to show u my sexxxy hospital "leaky lady" panties."

Prior to entering the hospital, Griffin playfully posted a video on YouTube predicting that she would most likely "pass away," despite the fact that her assistant, Tiffany Rinehart, assured both Griffin and fans that it's a "minor procedure."

And while she joked her chances of making it through surgery were "very, very slim," Griffin still made sure to promote her upcoming show, Kathy.

"This is probably it," she said with a straight face. "The Kathy show, by the way, which premieres April 19 on Bravo at 10 p.m., probably won't even happen because I'm probably going to pass away tomorrow."

Of course, Griffin is certainly no stranger to sharing info about her nether regions, having had one of her Pap smear tests televised back in 2010 to help promote women's health.
