Drake Wants To Make An Album With Rihanna

Rihanna and Drake have collaborated twice in their careers, and the result has been one smash hit for each—”What’s My Name” for Rihanna, and “Take Care” for Drake. It might make sense, then, especially with collaboration albums being so much of a thing now, for the two to spend a little more time together on record. At least one half of the duo is down for whatever, as Drake talked to Capital FM recently about how he wished to spend a little more time recording with his old friend. Sez Drizzy:

I’ve always urged her to let me come and really work on an album for her, with her…I feel like I could do some great writing for her. Actually the Rita Ora song that’s out right now was originally for Rihanna…I’ve got some great ideas so, you know, hopefully when the time is right she’ll send me that text or call me up and say, ‘Hey let’s get in the studio for a month and make an album’, and we can do it.

Sounds great. No awkwardness, though? I mean…you guys were kind of an item once upon a time, were you not? All those long hours alone in the recording studio, intimate moments, song lyrics bringing back those old feelings…are you guys ready to handle all that? We hope so—then again, we kind of hope not. We always kind of liked them as a couple.

Octomom -- Now On Welfare

The mother of 14 is getting $2,000 a month from the State of California. The money is deposited directly into a special debit card account (see above). The card can ONLY be used for food -- and it's closely monitored by the State to make sure the cardholder isn't making illegal purchases -- i.e., buying a bike at Costco.

It's a cruel twist, for a woman who vowed in 2010 -- a year after giving birth to octuplets -- she would NEVER go on welfare, saying she refused to become "a self-fulfilling prophecy" by accepting government assistance.

Octo qualified for the card because her income is less than $119,000 a year ... and a family of 15 that makes less than that amount is entitled to welfare benefits

In case you're wondering, the $119,000 figure is based on an average of just under $8,000 for each member of the household. The more kids, the more you can make and still receive welfare.

We’re told the cash-strapped mom has taken her children out of private school, except for her one son who has autism, saving her $4,000 a month. And as we first reported, she's even posing topless to make ends meet. But it just wasn't enough.

It's a sad story, but one we saw coming from a mile away.

'Price Is Right' Model Tweets Homophobic "Jokes"

Jerry Houston, a DJ on Hot 99.5 in DC, is rankled by some gay jokes Price is Right model Amber Lancaster (above) recently tweeted. But her comments are hardly Carson Daly-level offenses. We’re not even sure you could really call them jokes—they’re more like observations.

In one instance, Lancaster tweeted that “A gay guy just told me he’s allergic to nuts. #irony”. She later posted that “a gay guy I just met goes to a lesbian butcher to get his meat.”

If Lancaster is prepping some material for a standup act, she might want to go back to the drawing board.

Houston posted the tweets on the 99.5 blog and said “it’s kinda crazy to me that my favorite game show would have a model on the cast that thinks it’s ‘ok’ to make fun at the expense of gays.”

Maybe it’s because we’ve seen so much worse, but we don’t really see anything offensive about Lancaster’s tweets. We can’t cry foul every time someone mutters the word “gay.” And besides, this is a woman who makes her living pointing at living room furniture. Cut her a little slack.

"A Letter To My Fans… People of The World!!!

How the hell are you? I trust you are all well…..
I AM CRANKING ALONG!!!!

Things are going swimmingly, in the studio, as a mommy. My goodness gracious, how life has changed!!!!!!

Studio sessions used to go well into the night… I can vaguely remember having keys confiscated, passing out on Butch Walker’s couch a couple of times using a packing blanket as a cover…… These days “bottle service” is more like “bottle warmer”….. but where I used to excel in my drinking capabilities, this time I’m excelling in productivity and vocals… and boobs. boobs boobs everywhere. That little girl can eat. TMI

I am soo soo soo excited for all of you to hear what we’ve been working on…
I think it’s good. I really do- but who cares what I think, right? What matters most is how you feel about it…..

I’m putting my heart and soul into every song and there’s a lot of that these days. This little girl has expanded me and what I am capable of feeling as a human. Let’s hope it shows:)

Really looking forward to seeing all of you again, dusting off the old dancing shoes and learning some new tricks :)

Thanks again for all the “I Miss You’s” and all the constant love. My heart is full. Thank you.

And I love that fan dork dance video. I’m gonna have to seriously step up my geek game- or put Willow to work….

all my lovin’ xxx

Anne Hathaway On 500 Calorie Diet For ‘Les Miserable’ Role

If this report is true, Anne Hathaway is exercising a lot of will power! The British publication Daily Mirror is reporting that the Oscar nominee is on a 500 calorie diet in preparation for her role as Fantine in Les Miserables after she was asked to lose 16 pounds in three weeks.

“Producers have assigned her a personal trainer and she is literally eating nothing more than a couple of apples a day, and some protein – mainly in the form of a shake,” the Daily Mirror reports.

Anne, 29, is taking on the role of a dying, hungry prostitute, and according to London Daily Mail, she was a healthy size 10 before starting this crash diet. She’s not the only one who’s shed some weight for this movie.

The usually jacked Hugh Jackman, 43, was nearly unrecognizable when spotted on set as the character of Jean Valjean.

Megan Fox: My Comment About "Unattractive Girls" Was "Grossly Distorted""

Megan Fox may be one of the hottest women in Hollywood--but she wants to make it clear that she doesn't see herself that way.

The 25-year-old Friends With Kids actress is featured on the cover of French magazine Jalouse's April issue. In their interview with her, Fox is quoted as saying she "live[s] well with my image. I cannot complain. I would not trade my place with an unattractive girl."

An annoyed Fox took to her Facebook page Friday to clarify her comments. "Sigh. The actual comment, the context and its intention are grossly distorted and misrepresented here," Fox writes on her profile page, adding that poor translation is really to blame. "I gave this interview in English obviously," she says. "It was then translated to French and now back into English."

The actress insists the quotes are completely out of character for her, and says she's not the type to make the type of "vapid self serving comments" printed by the magazine. In fact, Fox asserts, "[I am] in contradiction...uncontrollably self deprecating."

Earlier this month, Fox opened up to MIAMI magazine about feeling insecure and lonely as a teen. "I was never the pretty girl," she shared, calling her younger self "obnoxious" and "abrasive."

Rihanna Starting Work On New Album!

Rihanna has revealed that she has started work on her new album.

The singer only released her last studio LP 'Talk That Talk' in November last year but, in an interview with Capital FM, she said she had already begun sketching out the early stages of her next record.

She said: I'm definitely thinking about the next record. I'm a multi-tasker. Right now we're working on collecting and creating the sound first before we even start working on the lyrical direction or melodies. I kind of have an idea though, and it's very rough right now. So I'm eager to start that.
Earlier this week (March 29), Rihanna shrugged off criticism that she was a bad role model for young women, and insisted that she wouldn't tone down her racy image or controversial videos because it would compromise her art.

She previously came under fire from singer Will Young, who said her lyrics were "not empowering" for young women, while the video for her single 'We Found Love' was described as a "disgrace" by anti-rape campaigners after it showed her being spanked by male model Dudley O'Shaughnessy. US pressure groups also called for the video for her single 'Man Down' to be banned after they claimed it promoted murder.

Rihanna is set to headline BBC Radio 1's Hackney Weekend event - a huge outdoor festival set to take place this summer to celebrate the 2012 Olympic Games. Rihanna will headline the event's second night (June 24), with Jay-Z closing the show on the event's opening evening (June 23).
