'Berenstain Bears' Creator Died at 88

Jan Berenstain, the children's book legend and co-creator of the Berenstain bears, according Jan's son has died Friday at 88 years old after suffering a stroke. She had the stroke on Thursday and then died the following day.

You all remember the Berenstain bear family, right? Well, Jan's Husband, Stan Berenstain created the Berenstain bears together back in 1962 when they published their first book, "The Big Honey Hunt". Even since, they have come out with over 300 books since then.

Stan died back in 2005 at the age of 82. They are survived by their sons and four grandchildren.
